poshmark not for sale

Ha! Some closets I've browsed have items listed for $0/not for sale. I accepted a real lowball offer for the item in the first place, but I couldnt believe it was happening to me! All I want to do is make a little extra money without donating. If youre a smaller seller, youre less likely to sell and make big profits unless you lower prices below market value or you have something high in demand. There is NO 100% protection. that I shop at sample/warehouse sales. It doesnt take much to get SU status at all. I responded immediately to the clam and again a day later but Poshmark has not had the courtesy to respond. These people never buy anything and it seems their sole purpose for being on Poshmark is to waste your time. Im hearing more and more similar situations like yours happening on Poshmark. I have 5 pairs of Miss Me Jeans and 2 miss me shorts Im trying to sell that it. I agree. It seems Poshmark has allowed greed to corrupt their business ethics. Im just done.. I have literally run across earrings on Poshmark for $30 that are bought for $1.25 from online websites (oh it takes 3-4 weeks to arrive! We will not be restoring your account as we require users to follow our returns guideline. Im not going to bother with texting. Id been wondering about selling a lot of my stuff online (Ive got a LOT of beautiful clothes that lifestyle wise, I have no need for anymore), but after reading everyones comments here, I see none of us are really having any luck. Its all I ever wore. If I have all 5 star reviews the past 4 years and someone complains that should be looked at. I made my first sale March 18, 2017 I have never been on social media until now. Because they provided a different label they have somehow messed up the payment, but no one will help. I looked on line and its illegal for a minor to do this and them not do nothing. Four times a day for the parties. If Sellers understand the responsibilities of what it is to be a Seller and Seller-Buyer etiquette, then there shouldnt be any problems. Iv got names. As a buyer of poshmark I found that items I bought werent quite as described every time I purchased 3 x I figured hey thats what you get for buying on line but this last one was a doosey! Plus, you csn expect to be then attacked by the sellers posse of mean girl Posh- buds!! They dont charge any fees at all to sell your stuff! I made sure that she knew that my feedback was not meant to offend, but was meant to help her improve her descriptions, and that I had no intention of returning the dress. This recent one was because of undisclosed odor. I seemed to have a streak of 4 rotten customers, one was an obvious scammer that pm allowed to go through anyway. The seller received them and complained that she only got one pair and was supposed to get two to which I explained again to read the description and asked her to please accept the order. Disabled for bad behavior with a few pending purchases of my own and a few sales pending. (I think 3 and up stars only show) I honestly would have taken pictures of it to show the stains and tagged her name stating it was a bigger problem than described. Ive been thinking about trying to open a boutique on Poshmark, but definitely have reservations. Thanks for all the info! Once I finally get my payment I am shutting my closet down. Or a new platform to use? Im still active & have made a few really good friends, but some things just kill me! Thankfully, Poshmark updated to 8 pictures so that helps a lot with posting pics of authentic merchandise. Again, thats one of the reasons I quit! If not, oh well. I complained to Poshmark and they sided with her. Ive been doing okay overall It hasnt caused me to throw the towel in just yet but it was definitely better than Ebay . The first was a lowball so I declined, but the 2nd I dont know if I should trust. To all that are good at ityou have my respect. I never paid attention to the fact that its also a social platform, so my bad. My first transaction on Poshmark cost me $50 for a defective pair of shoes I cant wear or even try to resell. It almost feels like I am being exploited and trapped in this nonsense! That is now my priority instead of Poshing. On the sales page across from where is says order status their is a drop down that says Problem?Order Inquiry When you click that drop down one option will say, report a problem with a return. Unfortunately, i live in a very small town and the local authorities probably wouldnt be of much assistance. My bank couldnt find the transaction so I had to wait to see where it landed then catch and re-route. I ask a lot of questions on an item (and I am sorry sometimes we have to ask a lot of questions but end up not buying it) but then if it meets my criteria, I always buy it. You can ask people on Facebook groups or other users on platforms if they would be willing to look at your listings and provide some feedback. Not only does it have snags that it didnt possess before I shipped, there was white hair on it like she let s pet on it to purposely snag with their claws!! Therefore, Poshmark does allow the sellers to file a follow up report if there is an issue with the return. I decided anyone who gives me anything 3 stars or lower without good reason gets blocked and cannot buy from me again. So then I would have to lower my prices to make up for the exorbitant shipping. On one wholesale portal I think it was the bullet necklaces, they give so much to charity I suggested Posh give the 20% they make off each sale to said charity! As a seller, yes, I have had the 8.5 million question buyer who then disappears; but then we have a secondary assumption that inquiry obligates a purchase. Thats how I scored a lot of my designer items. Do they care? Currently using Poshmark, but it needs so much improvement and yes, I put so much effort into packaging my items making sure each is clean and free of pilling, etc., wrapping in pretty paper, sending thank you notes, including little cosmetic samples and chocolates, etc, etc. Ugh. Just seems ebay and others do not protect sellers yet they make the money from us! Speaking of Ebay, I've decided that I'll no longer list an item not for sale on Posh until I receive payment . Were you able to retain some of your Poshmark customers with the move (which is one of my biggest concerns as I have a log of repeat business with the vintage jewelry that I sell)? Amen. I dont want to continue with a company that operates this way but I also like the easiness of listing and that the shipping is paid for by the buyer and that Poshmark provides a label.
